Styled Wedding // The Uncovered Workshop

This past spring I was able to put on and teach my first workshop with the help of many amazing vendors and Michela Brooke Photography. It was a joy to teach with her and spend time with so much talent. We had 13 people attend the workshop, and the styled shoot is published on Borrowed & Blue. We talked about everything from contracts to relationships with clients to different perspectives on how to photograph a wedding day. The goal was to uncover the hidden moments in a wedding day and any questions. We worked with harsh light, shade, and sunset light. It was a complete dream. I never usually like talking in front of people. I dreaded giving presentations in high school and college so I never would have imagined I would enjoy hosting and teaching a workshop. The workshop and the attendees taught me just as much as we taught them. It is amazing to build new relationships and get to know people. I can't wait to do another one and continue to grow and learn. Thank you so much to everyone who participated.
